Appendix IV - 'GOING LIVE'

Before you can enter 'live' (real) data into the BCFPI software, you must be certified. Once certified, you can contact support@bcfpi.com and we will forward the necessary files to enable your application to accept live data. We will need to know some important information regarding your organization's preferences as discussed in the introduction. We will provide you with files that have a unique organization identifier. These files MUST only be used ONCE. Each separate database will need its own unique identifier. If you re-use your unique agency identifier, you will not be able to properly export and analyze your data. You will receive the files in a compressed (.zip) format. The files should be extracted to the folder, 'Server\DatLive', where your BCFPI Server has been installed (or the standalone installation destination if you installed standalone).

Once you have extracted your 'go live' files to your 'Server\DatLive' folder, you should prepare your Live database. Once you have done this, you can run either the Demo or Live database on your workstations.
